*Putney Air Pollution Campaign (London) - video (49:19 minutes)*

Jonathan Callaway from the Putney Society
(http://www.putneysociety.org.uk/) in south west London, describes
their air pollution campaign and the use of air monitoring in a
'citizen science' project. The talk was organised by Network for Clean
Air (http://www.cleanairuk.org) and given at the Hub Westminster,
London on Wednesday 8 May 2013.

The Putney Society measured air quality using nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
gas diffusion tubes and produced a map showing air pollution in Putney
High Street. Their year long campaign persuaded Wandsworth borough
council to respond which eventually lead to lower emission buses being
introduced.

Note: This talk was part of one entitled 'Digital, Analogue and Active
Approaches for Better Air Quality (including Air Quality Egg)'. See
event details: http://cleanairuk.eventbrite.com and location:
