*Anniversary of the 1952 London Smog*

This year 2012, marks the sixtieth anniversary of the 'Great Smog' of
London which lead to the additional deaths of about 4000 people during the
smog episode from 5 - 9 December 1952. There were a number of anniversary
media productions. Here's a sample:

* The BBC World Service programme Witness (of 6 December 2012) was
dedicated to the 1952 smog and included an interview with Rosemary
Merritt, whose father died in the smog.
